  • Who we are.
Shezzles is an online dessert-in-a-jar store. Please read our About Us page to know more about us.
  • Do you have items that are on hand and are ready to buy? 
All desserts and cakes are made to order to guarantee the freshness of our products. We don't have on hand items ready for sale unless otherwise we announce it. As we always say, EARLY BOOKINGS ARE HIGHLY ENCOURAGED. Kindly give us at least 7 DAYS NOTICE for reservations on regular days to avoid schedule conflict. And please, NO RUSH ORDERS since all goods are made to order (thoroughly sterilized, carefully baked, meticulously assembled, and intricately packaged).
  • Where is your store located?
We don't have a physical store address. We are an online store based in Silay City, Philippines.
  • Where is Silay City?
Silay City (click on the link to show the map) is located in the Western Visayas area, a province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. Its neighboring cities are Bacolod, Talisay, and Victorias.
  • How do I contact you?

  • What products do you offer? 
We sell desserts and cakes that are packaged in glass jars.
  • How much are the cakes and desserts?
For your convenience, we have provided you price list pages of food items for you to choose from. You may visit the following pages: Dessert in a Jar Flavors, Other Cakes Pricelist, and Other Products & Services.  *Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
  • How long do the desserts and cakes last?
Desserts in jars especially those that contain custards  are good up to 3-4 days when kept refrigerated. Other desserts can last up to 1 week. Meanwhile, cakes can be stored in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. Thaw the cakes 15-30 minutes before consumption. You may also ask us via text or Facebook for more info.
  • How big are your jars?
We use 200ml glass jars in all desserts in jars. We now also have 150ml glass jars exclusive for party favors (weddings, birthdays, christening) with a minimum order of 30 pieces.
  • Are they safe for use?
Your health is of primary importance to us. We make sure that each jar is washed and sterilized thoroughly before using to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the food you eat.
  • What else is included when buying an item?
All 200ml jars come with a disposable wooden spoon. No spoon is provided for 150ml jar. However, you may also request for a spoon as an add-on.

Buyer's Guide
  • How do I navigate the site? 
To navigate our website, simply click on a category you might be interested in. Categories are links located at the top beside "Home" tab. Place your mouse cursor over anything you think could be a clickable link. You'll notice that anytime you scroll over something that is a link, your mouse cursor will become a "hand". You may also type a keyword into the SEARCH box to quickly find a specific product. If you have any trouble locating a product, feel free to contact us for assistance.
  • How do I place an order?
You may place your order by doing one of the following:

Send us the following details:
  • Complete Name
  • Complete Shipping Address (for outside Bacolod)
  • Contact Number
  • Quantity and flavor you want to order
  • How much should the minimum order be?
If your location is within the range of Bacolod, Silay, or Victorias, you may order at least 1 dozen of 200ml jar. If you're from other location (e.g. Manila, Cebu, Davao, Dumaguete), we require you to have a minimum order of 20 pieces 200ml jar of any or the same kind.
  • Can I change my order, quantity of order, or cancel my order?
For Bacolod residents, you may change an item or quantity cancel an order 5 days ahead of the agreed upon scheduled meet up.
For non-Bacolod residents, you may change an item or quantity of your order/s if payment has still not been settled. Just inform us via our contact information. Once payment has been made, no cancellation or changes shall be accommodated. Order is considered final once payment is received. We usually make your order a day before the shipment date. In some cases, if you have set a desired date for shipment arrival, inform us during the ordering process.
  • What other products do you have aside from cakes in jars?
Aside from our mainline products of desserts in jars, we also cater to customers who would like to order layer cakes, tiered cakes, customized fondant cakes, pies, cupcakes, and a lot more. Kindly see our Other Cakes Pricelist for reference.  We can also customize cakes according to your preference and have it quoted for you.
  • Do you offer services such as dessert table for parties?
We thrive to grow and expand. And as part of our growth, we love to explore and venture on new products and services that we think we are capable of offering to our customers. We can definitely consider such requests so we can offer you the best possible customer service. We are flexible. :-)

Payment
  • Should I pay first before receiving my orders? 
If you're located within the range of Bacolod and Silay, we accept cash on the delivery. If you're living outside of Bacolod, we request you to pay first before we send your orders.
  • How do I pay for my orders?
For Bacolod residents, you may pay in cash (COD). However, we require 50% down payment for bulk orders and orders amounting to at least P3,000.

For non-Bacolod residents, you may deposit your payments through our BDO or BPI accounts. Better yet, send us a scanned copy of your deposit slip through email or Facebook. We also accept PayPal payment (additional charges may apply).
  • Do you accept credit card payment?
Unfortunately, we do not accept credit card payment as of now. However, we accept PayPal payments and PayPal accepts major credit cards.
  • I need a copy of my receipt/invoice.
No problem. We will send you a receipt/invoice to your email as per request. Payments made via PayPal will automatically generate a receipt of your payment and is sent to your email.

Packaging, Shipping & Delivery
  • How can I receive my orders?
For customers living within the range of Bacolod and Victorias (delivery charge may apply), we can meet up at the agreed venue. For outside Bacolod residents, we ship your goods via courier.
  • When will I receive my orders?
For Bacolod/Talisay/Silay/Victorias residents:
We schedule meetups or delivery of orders; usually twice a week in Bacolod. We will inform you via Facebook message or text as to when and where to pick up your orders.

For outside Bacolod residents:
Your package should arrive 1 day after the shipment date. For bulk orders, we require 15 days lead time.
  • Do you accept orders placed outside of the Philippines?
As of now, our products are only available for Philippine residents. We are still working on shipping worldwide. We will let you know once we are ready to ship worldwide. ;-)
  • When will my orders be shipped?
We schedule shipment once a week, usually every Wednesday or Thursday. Your goods will be shipped on the said day provided that payments had been settled before the cut-off date. It is important that you inform us of your settled payment for our verification. We will acknowledge the receipt of your payment via the contact information you provide us.
  • How much does the shipment cost?
Shipping fee costs Php250 to 300 and/or depending on your location, weight and dimension of your package; charges will be shouldered by the customer.
  • How are my orders shipped? 
Your orders are shipped through air courier service, usually via AP Cargo or LBC. We can also deliver the goods by land via Ceres Bus Liner to some parts of Negros Occidental and Negros Oriental.

For other locations that may not be covered by AP Cargo or LBC, we will try our best to send your package through other couriers available at your location that accept perishable goods and can deliver them within 24 hours.
  • How do you handle the packing of my items? 
From here, desserts in jars are frozen and packed in a carton box stuffed with styro and bubble wrap to help insulate the temperature while traveling. However, if you have special instructions or add-ons for packaging, please do contact us for arrangement; it may incur additional expense. As your package is in transit, your cakes will be in a thawed state. Once you receive your goods, refrigerate them immediately.
  • Are all items applicable for shipping? 
There are selected items that are available for shipping. Other items that contain cream and custard are very delicate and are not applicable for long distance travel as they cannot withstand shipment and might be easily deformed, melted or spoiled during transit. Shezzles is not liable for any damage as the items being shipped from here are intact, tightly packed, and properly labeled as fragile and perishable. We will do our best to work closely with our courier to maintain your items in good condition.

Return Policy
  • Do you accept return and exchange of items? 
Unfortunately, we do not accept return or exchange of items once purchased.
  • What do I do if my order is incomplete, incorrect, or damaged?
If your order is incomplete, or incorrect, please contact us via SMS, Facebook or email us at shezzles.inajar@gmail.com. For damaged orders, please also contact us so we can inform our courier.
  • What do I do if I am not happy with my order?
You may message us thru our Facebook page and give us your review why you're not happy with your purchased goodies. We accommodate any feedback so it may help us improve our products. Since we do not want any unsatisfied customers, we can arrange as to what we can offer for compensation (e.g. replacement, freebies).
  
 Rewards, Gift Cards & Discounts
  • How can I receive rewards?
Loyal and valued customers and those who have purchased items of at least worth P5,000.00 can receive rewards in various forms. We may send customers free gift cards or coupons or it may also be some souvenir items. :-)
  • Do you give discounts for volume orders?
Yes, definitely! Discounts for volume orders is a way to make sure you get the best price possible when buying in large quantities (minimum order size of 40 pieces to be considered as bulk order). What to do? You simply inform us of your desire. And based on your order size, we will extend the best price possible to you as a valued customer of Shezzles.
