June 12 is one of the most significant dates in the Philippine's history because it marks the nation's independence from the Spanish rule. We will be commemorating our Philippine Independence Day or "Araw ng Kalayaan" in the coming days.
Moreover, June 12 is also the day that our hometown Silay City celebrates its 58th Charter Day. It's a double celebration for the Silaynons! We invite you to come to our city and celebrate with us!
And because of that, we are in the mood to give you another round of contest with some delish prizes awaiting you!

MECHANICS:
1) This contest is open to all residents of Bacolod, Silay or other neighboring cities.
2) Type in the comment box: #ProudPinoyAko or #PilipinoAngGalingMo then state your reason why.
Ex: #ProudPinoyAko dahil ang isang pinoy ay nananatiling matatag sa kabila ng mga pagsubok.
3) You may write your entry in English or Filipino. There's no limit in entries.
4) Contest runs from June 8 until June 12, 2015.
5) We will pick out 3 LUCKY WINNERS among the entries. Then, we will announce the names of the winners the following day.
6) To the winners, we will inform you via Facebook on how to claim your prize.
